The alarm did not recognise my voice

Recognition runs on the device, so it works offline but it is sensitive to a very quiet room and to phrases that are only one or two words long. A short sentence works better than a single word.

Does RYZA record or upload my voice?

No. Speech recognition happens entirely on your iPhone and nothing is sent to a server. See the privacy policy for the full detail.

Can I still turn the alarm off in an emergency?

Yes. The standard iOS controls always work — RYZA never takes over your device.
